Townhouse
Maison Medina occupies a beautifully restored townhouse in Rabat, a few steps from the medieval walls of Mdina, the fortified hilltop city Malta's islanders still call the Silent City.
Opened in 2024, the house was restored to keep what mattered: the limestone, the proportions, the light. Around those historic bones we've layered contemporary, chic finishes. The result is a small house of four rooms, each different, all built around comfort.

Power adapters
Malta uses the British three-pin plug. If your devices use a different one, you're welcome to borrow a power adapter from us for your stay. Please leave it in the room when you check out, so the next guest finds it ready too.

Agatha
Agatha is the quiet one. A thoughtfully designed, serene room built entirely around unwinding, with its own outdoor terrace for a coffee in the morning or a drink at the end of the day. The king-size bed carries a plush mattress and fine linens; the bathroom is spacious, with complimentary toiletries and warmed towels.
La Duna
Our most generous room. La Duna is expansive and inviting, laid out for a genuinely relaxed stay, a king-size bed with premium linens and plush pillows, plus a sofa bed, making it our best choice for families or groups of friends. The bathroom is large, with fluffy towels, robes and indulgent toiletries.
La Loggia
La Loggia pairs a luxurious king-size bed with an outdoor terrace to stretch out on. It is our ground-floor room, designed for accessibility, thoughtfully adapted so that guests with mobility needs can enjoy the house fully.
Melite
The room with the view. Melite has a dynamic, vibrant decorative scheme and a balcony looking out across the gardens to the historic city of Mdina, a remarkable thing to wake up to.
Breakfast, rooftop and access
Breakfast
Continental breakfast is served every morning, 7:30 to 10:30 AM, in our breakfast area.
Whether breakfast is included depends on the rate you booked. If you're not sure, ask us and we'll check. If it isn't included, you're welcome to add it.
Tell us about any dietary requirements or allergies before you arrive and we'll have things ready from your first morning.
The rooftop terrace
Our rooftop is the best seat in the house, sunbeds and a hot tub, with panoramic views over Rabat and out towards Mdina. Come up for the afternoon sun, or for the evening when the bastion walls light up.
Accessibility
La Loggia, on the ground floor, is fully accessible with adapted features. The remaining rooms are on upper floors and are reached by stairs. If accessibility matters for your stay, please tell us at the time of booking so we can make sure you're in the right room.
